Dirty Words Design is a video podcast about Adobe InDesign and Graphic Design. Host Adam Jury brings you InDesign tips, tricks and "dirty" solutions for sticky problems. This isn't a "best practices" guide—this is problem-solving and making the best out of a bad situation. His work blends great readability and usability with totally awesome explosions, transhumanity, and other fantastical things. He works for and co-owns Posthuman Studios, a hobby game publisher.
Rorohiko’s Soxy 1.0 for OS X has just been released, with a Windows version in beta. This episode of Dirty Words Design shows you how to use Soxy to easily manage multiple versions of InDesign at the same time — no accidentally opening old files in the newest version of InDesign or vice-versa! I also demonstrate how to assign a different application to open specific PDF versions.

Small side note: since version 1.0 of Soxy, there should be more need for the ‘Get Info…’ manipulation that plagued previous versions – Soxy should also do that for you now.
The Finder still ‘lags behind’ and won’t visually acknowledge what Soxy does – but if you hit Command-Option-Escape and then relaunch the Finder you can see that Soxy has changed the file-to-application association for you.
